YEAR 2008
The year 2008 now in the books of history as past, leaves a lot in our minds. My name in Ricky Kahudu, I would like to thank you for your sacrificial gifts towards the lives of the disadvantaged children of Africa.
Thank you for accepting and becoming part of the wide ISAC KIDS family!
I know the times are bad, the economy is staggering and you are hurting financially but we at ISAC KIDS in Africa are grateful that you have sacrificially given and made possible many ISAC KIDS projects succeed.
I would like to thank all my hosts during this trip for all the sacrifice that they set forward for me। I know its hard in this part of the world for some one to have free time at hand but you really made me feel at home by giving me your time and money towards my ticket and driving me places whenever needed. Thank you so much and may God bless you.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT?
1.) We identify the poor, orphaned and needy children through the Local Council (LC) Government leaders. We are approach the leaders with the intent to help give hope to those seemingly hopeless children. We ask the leaders to identify the children for us.
2.) We make three different investigative visits to the home to really ascertain whether the information given to us about the children and the families is consistent.
3.) The guardian/parent of the children is given a recommendation letter from the Local Council (LC) Government leader signed and stamped. We take this letter and create a file for the child. So we have copy at the village council office where this child comes from and at our (ISAC) office.
4.) Because we respect our culture, we leave those children get integrated in the community unless if a child is completely without any body to take care off them, that is when we shall seek to build a home for them to stay in the future.5.) We then take the picture of the child which is sent to our friends in USA after a thorough consideration.6.) After the child gets sponsorship, we work closely with the schools where the ISAC children are placed. This is so because we want to make sure that the children are receiving Christian Education besides the regular education.
7) We try as much as we can to keep these children in their communities। Children will not have to walk 10 miles or so to school or even have their parents / guardians struggle to pick them up from a long journey, we choose the nearest school under our consideration for the children। Because if a child moves long distances to and from school, there will be no learning on the child’s side, being that they get too tired as they are poor and needy their only means of transport is footing (walking) thus no results at the end of the day.
8.) We invite the children every Saturday on the days code named Child Center Days. Here the children are taught bible lessons and fellowship together. We visit the home where the child stays to; a) Evaluate the conditions under which the child stays i.e. the child’s beddings, daily living, etc
b) Evaluate the domestic relationships; remember if a child is abused, this will affect their psychology leading to poor performance in school.
c) Teach them the word of God with the help of one of the Ministry वोर्के. In case a child does not adhere to this program, for instance if the child misses 2 – 3 Saturdays without a sound reason, then she/he faces disciplinary action।We pray that this information will help you to understand how ISAC identifies children for sponsorship।How does ISAC works? ISAC does not own a school but instead we place children in schools which will captivate Christian Morals in the children we work in conjunction with the school teachers and administration to close down the gap between the Ministry and the schools where these children go
Where does your money go?
$22, go to your child’s needs including school fees, uniform, medication, School supplies
$3, go towards the administration of the ministry.
Term II 2008
Thank be to God, despite the change, in the second term of the academic year 2oo8 i.e. May – August, they performed incredible well in their exams despite the change. I thank the staff and management on the new school where most of these kids go for the hard work they did in training the kids.
It is always a pleasure to see who and what these kids live with in their daily lives.
The typical the ISAC kid starts at 7 am and ends at 9pm when I believe most of them retire to bed.
Everyday is challenge to these kids. Starting with breakfast at home to dinner. Most of them never ever experience breakfast before they leave for school.
Some items that most children in the developed world take for granted or as a right the African child is a dream.

Initiative Save African Children
What is Initiative Save African Children?
Initiative Save African Children (I.S.A.C) - Uganda is a Non profit, Christian Organization, whose focus is to: Rescue the underprivileged children from the terrible situation and suffering they face.
How we started
The Ministry started with 22 children from 18 families. This was a blessing to me because two of them were staying with me in my house.
We provided books, school fees, pens and pencils and some food whenever we could.
We registered more children in June 2007 to bring the number to 100. We had to just limit the number because our resources are limited.
How about you become an ISAC family member? One that cares for the needs of others? One that takes action for those reaching out rescuing the children? One that is part of a family that is growing every day as we embrace the disadvantaged, lost, hopeless and needy children that are wondering what will become of me?
Will you help ISAC respond to the question,Will you be like a father or mother to me?? Please respond to the call today.
Thank you for giving hope to these disadvantaged, lost, hopeless and needy children ।
Our Vision, Passion and Values
1. Our Passion and desire are driven by helping those children who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa day by day.
2. Our belief is that all children are equal and should get the best they ought out of their lives and have their future bright and destiny shaped, thus have a smile on their lips!
3. We believe in the potentials of each individual child. That is why ISAC seeks to have a Vocational Training Academy in future because here a child use his/her God given potential to do the hand work, not matter what this child may have experienced.
Purpose
To help the most underprivileged children have a hope in the future.
Vision
Our vision is of a world where all children and young and underprivileged children have a sense of belonging and are loved and valued. A world where they can fulfill their potential, shape their destiny and experience the joy of life.
Operational mission
ISAC meets the needs of children who are underprivileged most need support to achieve their full potential. Through our work and through speaking out, we seek to break the cycle of deprivation.
We challenge injustice and empower children to overcome the obstacles in their lives that hold them back। We tailor our work to local circumstances, in partnership with children and young people, families, communities, Individuals, and local and International organizations.
